Automated Presort, Inc. was founded in 1989 with two Multi-Line Optical Character Readers (MLOCR’S). API currently has a dozen such sorters at its main 70,000 square foot facility in Downers Grove, Illinois. In 2004 API opened a second facility in Dubuque, Iowa. API’s commingled mailings are in the millions. From over 250 companies, mail is barcoded, commingled, and presorted to optimize postage savings and delivery times.
Through our Mail Preparation Total Quality Management (MPTMQ) Certification and by offering One-Pass, Track and Trace, Scan All, Key Line, Merlin Repairs, and Postal Consulting we are able to provide our customers with the best possible service in the industry.
